Why you need G3 qualification
Unvented cylinders store hot water under mains pressure. The law requires a G3-qualified engineer for servicing and repair — that's me.
G3 qualified South Molton
No hot water? Water dripping from the pipe outside? I'm G3 qualified to service and repair unvented cylinders in South Molton and North Devon — Megaflo, Telford, Gledhill, Heatrae Sadia and similar makes.
Unvented cylinders are pressurised systems. The law requires a G3-qualified engineer — and that's what I am.
Once we've fixed a time for me to come out, I'm glad to run through my Gas Safe registration and insurance.
Servicing
Unvented cylinders need annual servicing — both for safety and because most manufacturers require it to honour the warranty. I check the safety valves, the expansion vessel, the discharge arrangement and the controls, and I give you a written record.
I work on Megaflo, Telford, Gledhill, Heatrae Sadia and similar makes across South Molton, EX36 and the surrounding North Devon area. Suitable for homeowners and landlords.

No hot water, water dripping from the discharge pipe outside, pressure loss, noisy operation or controls that have stopped responding — I'll work out which part of the system is causing it.

Repairs
If your cylinder isn't heating properly, water is dripping from the discharge pipe outside, or the pressure keeps dropping — I'll diagnose what's causing it before recommending anything. Any part I supply and fit is guaranteed for one year.
Cylinder faults can sometimes look like boiler or control faults. I'll check the whole picture — programmer, motorised valve, thermostat, boiler — so you know where the problem actually is.
I don't install new cylinders or boilers. This is servicing and repair of existing unvented systems only.
